ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Rhythm with Signs Community is an international network connecting musicians, conductors, educators, cultural organisations and local ensembles working with Rhythm with Signs and conducted improvisation.
The network started in Rome in 2018 through Orchestra Improvvisata APS and gradually expanded across Italy and Europe through training programmes, artistic exchanges, Erasmus+ projects, international meetings and the creation of new local groups.
The objective is simple: connect people who use collective musical creation as a tool for artistic research, education, participation and community building.
THE NETWORK
The Rhythm with Signs network connects local groups, ensembles and communities working with collective musical creation in different parts of the world.
Each group develops its own identity, context and artistic practice while sharing a common language based on improvisation, listening, conduction and collective composition.
From local ensembles to international collaborations, the network creates opportunities for exchange, training, artistic encounters and new connections between musicians, educators and communities.

A Rhythm with Signs group can take different forms: a professional ensemble, a regular community group, an educational project, a workshop-based collective or an artistic research process.
